Hi Kimmer! What happens is that anyone newly registered will, of course, have to agree to the new TOS when they sign up. Old members will be prompted to view and agree to the new TOS when (if) they log out and log back in again. Hope you had a good weekend!

Thanks Rosemary. One more question - for old members, will they have to agree to TOS the first time they log back in after logging out, or every single time they log in?

Re: Hardcode notification settings for all users

Ted O'Neill ·
Hi Mary- You can already do #1. Go to the Recipes control panel and look for this prebuilt template "Contact Members Who Have Been Inactive For A Certain Period Of Time". When you lick on that, you can configure how many days since last visit, and of course customize the email that is sent to those members. #2 is not currently possible, since we have no recipe trigger based on users changing their notifications, currently. I can convert this to a suggestion for that, if you like. It sounds...

Thanks, Ted – I skipped the General section altogether, so now I see #1 right at the top… duh! For #2 I would like to be able to hardcode notification settings by role – at least minimum notification frequency settings so they can’t turn off certain notifications completely, and certain ones have a minimum of the weekly digest. Possible? Thank you! Mary

Re: Lightbox Settings

Jonmark Weber ·
Good morning, I believe you are referring to the slideshow widget correct? If you are, the widget will display the images in whatever width is available to it. We constrain widths based on where the widget is included on your site. The widest column in any of our UIs is the middle column of the /home page. If the images are still not wide enough in that UI then you will need to embed the widget in a custom page in order to increase the available width to the widget. Cheers, Jonmark

Sorry, was referring to the forums but I'm going to assume the same principle applies. I was hoping for a way to increase the lightbox size for desktop viewing.

Hello Again, If you are referring to the slideshow overlay used to view attachments then the issue would actually be with the resizing that takes place during the actual upload process. We store images at a maximum of 1000x1000 as part of the conversion process. Currently there is no way to present images in their original size within the slideshow overlay for attachments/clips. Re: upgrade killed member moderation?

Hi Debbie, The software update today included major improvements to the moderation processes used on your site. You can read more about it on our blog here: https://community.hoop.la/blog/introducing-recipes Your member moderation setting should have been moved to a new recipe, which would have meant that there was no change to the moderation behavior on your site. It looks like there was a small issue that prevented that from happening properly. We've corrected the issue, so things should...

Hi Ted, I didn't realize that I needed this until just this past weekend. This is terrific as we stratafy [sic] features to align with incentives. Congratulations on the new logo. I wish we still had the "powered by" image selector for themes." We'd be much happier with a black or dark gray icon to go with our overall grayscale aesthetic. ST

Re: Clip sets

Ted O'Neill ·
Hi Emma- Yes, indeed! What you want to do is click on the "Configure Home Page" link in the right column on your group's home page: You'll then be able to edit which "content blocks" appear in that left column. You could use the stock "Clips" content block if you want to display all clips (or all clips in a particular clip set) and be done... ... but if you want to display the actual clip sets only (just the set names), then you'll need to work a little harder, since we do not have a "list...

Re: Clip sets

Ted O'Neill ·
Hi Emma- Yeah, that is what I was talking about. What you are seeing is a stock background image on each set box. If the sets contained images, then an image from the set would appear as the background instead. You might be able to replicate the look somewhat, if all you care about it displaying the same background image, but it would require a good bit of CSS and honestly all the CSS in the world may not make it look quite the same. If you have some CSS gurus at your company, though, you...

upgrade killed member moderation?

DebAsWas ·
Hi from frenzforum.com Hoopla site. We heavily moderate our memberships. I just got a new member in and I got an email saying you have a new member. NOT the old email that said please moderate this member. It looked like you auto-OK'ed him. I went into Registration Settings and saw NOTHING about moderating members. We get a LOT of spammers that I need to block. How do we have moderated membership like we did until today? How can people be NOT approved until I approve them? Thanks.

Re: Setting others' notifications

Dave Dreezer ·
Hi Emma, No, an admin cannot adjust a user's notifications. You can adjust the default notifications that are applied for all new members when they register, but there is no way to retroactively adjust either all members, or a single individual's notifications. In the spirit of teaching them how to fish you could point them to this knowledgebase entry , or create your own for them to read.
