Hi, Jeffrey!

If you go to look at your custom home page via the control panel (in the Page Body HTML field), you'll see this at the very bottom:

<!-- Middle Column End -->
</div>
</div>
##POWEREDBY_FOR_DARK_BG##

You can see that text at the bottom. If you just remove that and save the page, you should be good!

Hi Jeffrey,

If you want to just send them a notification, an email, without typing each name that can be done right in the control panel.  Create a circle and put each of the students into that circle.  You don't have to grant special permissions to the circle, but it groups them for you and then from that point on you have them in a group together. Then when you want to notify the group you just go into member management, search for that circle by name, and on the results page select all, and select Notify Members from the pull down.  This will send an email to all the members of the circle with whatever content you have enter into the email form.

If you need to create a two way dialog with them rather than a broadcast type of notification then yes, you will need to enter their names one by one.

No new charges.  I'm not talking about an entire new site.  Just another forum within your current site.

You have 15 forums currently, in 4 categories. I'm proposing that you create a new forum and set permissions on it so that only certain individuals can see it or access it. You can then permit that group of students to see it and access it whenever they want, and you can converse there as a group.

Hi Jeffrey,

First thing you want to do is create a Circle and add the members to it.  Go to https://upenndentalhonorsforum.hoop.la/cp/circles and click add a circle.  Name it something that you will remember it by.  On the resulting page you do not need to add special permissions to it, just click Members and add in all the people that will be allowed to see and interact with this new private forum that you will make.  As this is just for your use you can choose to suppress the notification by unchecking the box if you want to do so.   This creates a group of people that you will allow in.  You can add or remove people as you need.

Now to create the Forum.  Go to https://upenndentalhonorsforum...a/cp/forum-structure and then create your new forum by selecting a category and clicking the "Add a forum in tis Category" button. Give the forum a name, and optionally a description.  Adjust the Permissions pull-down menus to "Specific Circles" and checkmark the Circle that you have just added all of these people to.  As long as all of the pull-down menus are set to only this new circle then only members of the circle will even see the presence of the forum. Of course members of the Super Admin group will also see it.

And again, you can manage who belongs by adding or removing members from the circle.

You can create multiple forums and multiple circles too.If you nee done for one group of students, one for a different group, and so on.
